The Honorary President Republican Model is a solution for the whole of Australia and made in the true spirit of federation.

Most alternative republican models allow for the states to retain their links to the Queen, even if a republic is established. This makes no sense.

Under the Honorary President Model each state is provided the same protection and independence as the federal government, just as it was intended by the Founders of Federation. It continues the same unified system we enjoy today.

The six states are the providers of important community services, such as police, education and health. This model makes sure there are no hidden costs for the states making the transition to a republic.
